How many times have you stressed this week? Is it because of time management issues? Or is it just because of the unbelievable amount of work that you have been assigned? Well, either one isn't important. Because what's important now is what you are going to do to cope with the stress.

Let me tell you, putting off the work won't help. Putting off the work would cause you to procrastinate more.
When I stressed back then, I would began to develop this bad habit of stress sleeping which is pretty bad. I wouldn't get anything done, and I would stress more about school. Then, that led me to getting insufficient sleep.
In order to fix that, I started to break things down to complete. I would write out what times I'm going to spend in completing a certain task. Setting an alarm would help organize your schedule, challenge, and motivate you to get more work done in a more sufficient manner.
Use a calendar. Always write out what you are planning to do early in advance. Spend the first day of each week writing out your schedule. Schedule all appointments in at least 1 week in advance. Don't do anything last minute, because attempting to complete things last minute will just end up in a mess. Learn to prioritize your time.
Prioritize the most important tasks you need. Don't waste time when completing those tasks otherwise you'll just become more behind. Falling behind will just make your life miserable. Eliminate the distractions and unnecessary events that you don't need to attend. Those would usually cause distractions in leading you off your schedule.
Someone once said,
"Your future is created by what you do today, not tomorrow."
You reap what you sow. If you put in the effort now to get your life together and organize your schedule, I bet, you will become successful. Organization is one of the keys to success. If you work hard right now, you can relax in the future and enjoy life. Yes, you can still attend parties and events that would help you relax. But always remember, know you limit.
Self control plays a very crucial role when it comes to time management. By doing so, you would be able to cope with stress. Make the stress your friend by breaking it down first. Pinpoint the important things you need to complete and attack it. When finished, you have made stress, your friend.
Stress can be taken as a positive motivation when you know how to attack it. But if you always view it from a negative point of view, then yes, it will hinder your abilities to grow. So make stress you friend.
As I always say, positivity promotes better health. Who wouldn't want to be healthy?
It's time for you to make a new friend.
